Mü’minlerin Hz. Nebî’ye karşı vazifeleri vahiyle belirlenmiş olup bu konuda en fazla görev Aḥzāb sûresinde geçmektedir. Sûrede mü’minlerin önemli vazifelerinden biri 56. âyette geçen “salât” emridir. Tefsirlerde “salât” kelimesine öncelikle lügat kitaplarındaki anlamları esas alınarak “rahmet”, “dua” “istiğfar” gibi manalar verilmektedir. Bu konuda gelen rivâyetlerde de “ona salât edin” emrinden “Allahumme salli ….” dualarını okumak kastedildiği aktarılmaktadır. Kelimenin sözlüklerde geçen manalarından ve rivâyetlerde geçen ifadelerden öncelikle rahmet, dua ve istiğfar kastedildiği anlaşılmakla beraber âyetin sûre bütünlüğü ve bağlamı göz önünde bulundurulduğunda, kelimenin bu anlamların yanı sıra “desteklemek” anlamına da gelebileceğini söylemek mümkündür. Bu çalışmada “salât” kelimesinin sûre bütünlüğü ve bağlamı içindeki anlamı üzerinde durulacaktır.
One of the significant duties of the believers towards Prophet Muhammad is the command of "salât" mentioned in the 56th verse of Surah Al-Ahzab. In commentaries, the word "salât" mentioned in this verse is mainly interpreted as "mercy," "prayer," and "repentance" based on their meanings in dictionaries. In narrations, it is conveyed that the command of "صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ /salât upon him" in the verse refers to reciting the supplications of "اللهم صل /Allahumma salli" and "اللهم بارك /Allahumma barik." However, considering the context of the whole Surah and the context, particularly the Ahzab war, the Zayd-Zaynab case, and Zaynab's marriage to Prophet Muhammad, it can be said that he needed support in those matters. Therefore, besides the mentioned meanings of the word "salât," it is possible that it also means "to support." This study focuses on the meaning of the word "salât" within the context and integrity of the Surah.
