Abstract:

Education has an indispensable importance in terms of adapting human beings to the world they live in. Recognizing this situation, humanity has been engaged in educating individuals and reintegrating them into society since ancient times. The understanding of education has developed gradually in the historical process. Accordingly, teachers, students, schools, lessons, etc. in the modern sense. elements have emerged. Educational elements, which are the product of long-term efforts of humanity, have been passed on to the next generations as a legacy. However, education for the individual is a basic requirement in terms of cognitive, emotional and social development beyond just a certain professional knowledge. The value of the material and spiritual opportunities that traditional education contains in the development of these human abilities should not be denied. On the other hand, with the development of computer and internet technology, online education applications have become widespread. Thus, it is noteworthy that the basic elements in the traditional understanding of education have changed. In the humanitarian sense, it is important to analyze both educational approaches comparatively. In this study, the main features of traditional and online education are analyzed in a philosophical context. In this context, the physical, cognitive, emotional and social aspects of education are examined in the context of the understanding of "being human". At the same time, it is aimed to discuss the problems that may arise or may arise in the absence of the mentioned features.
