Bir anlamı olduğuna inanıldığı ölçüde yaşam katlanılabilir olmaktadır. Anlam ise varsayılmış referanslar ve idealler aracılığıyla sağlanır. Nietzsche’ye göre yaşamı anlamlı ve katlanılabilir kılan tüm idealler çökmüştür ve insan hiçliğe savrulmuştur. Tanrı’nın ölümüyle zirve noktasını gören çöküşün (decadence) sonucu nihilizmdir ve Nietzsche’ye göre aşılamadığında nihilizmin ağır bedelleri olacaktır. Bu anlamda Nietzsche felsefesi, anlamı yitirilen yaşamı yeniden anlamlı kılmaya ve böylece nihilizmi aşmaya matuf varoluşsal bir girişimdir. Nietzsche bu girişimi kapsamında sabit ve verili varlık metafiziğinin yerine oluşa dayalı bir felsefe üretir. Bu felsefede üstinsan Tanrı’nın yerine geçerek perspektivist değerler yaratırken, yaşam güç istenci temelinde bütün trajedisiyle var olur. Öte yandan yalnızca estetik bir fenomen olarak haklı kılınabilen dünya, ebedi tekerrürle içkin bir sonsuzluk kazanır. Böylece metafizik ve din yerine bir kuram olan ebedi tekerrürle nihilizmi aşma girişimi tamamlanır. Ancak bu aşma girişimi, amor fati (kaderini sev) ilkesi gereği nihilizmin trajik bir neşeyle karşılanmasını önermekten öteye geçememektedir. Bu bağlamda bu çalışmada Nietzsche’nin felsefesi, varoluşsal krizi aşma çabası olarak sorunlaştırılmakta ve bu çabanın yitirilmiş olanı ikame etmeye ve böylece varoluşsal bir teselli bulmaya dönük olduğu iddia edilmektedir.
Life becomes bearable to the extent that it is believed to have meaning. Meaning is provided through assumed references and ideals. According to Nietzsche, all ideals that make life meaningful and bearable have collapsed and man has been thrown into nothingness. The result of decadence, which sees its peak with the death of God, is nihilism, and according to Nietzsche, if it is not overcome, nihilism will have heavy costs. In this sense, Nietzsche's philosophy is an existential attempt to make life that has lost its meaning meaningful again and thus to overcome nihilism. Within the scope of this initiative, Nietzsche produces a philosophy based on becoming, instead of the metaphysics of fixed and given existence. In this philosophy, while the overman (übermensch) replaces God and creates perspectivist values, life exists with all its tragedy on the basis of the will to power. On the other hand, the world, which can only be justified as an aesthetic phenomenon, acquires an inherent eternity through eternal repetition. Thus, the attempt to overcome nihilism with eternal recurrence, a theory rather than metaphysics and religion, is completed. However, this attempt to transcend cannot go beyond suggesting that nihilism should be met with tragic joy, in accordance with the principle of amor fati (love your fate). In this context, in this study, Nietzsche's philosophy is problematized as an effort to overcome the existential crisis, and it is claimed that this effort is aimed at replacing what has been lost and thus finding existential consolation.
