Abstract:

In order to examine the identity concept of multiculturalism theory, which is the starting point of the article, both in terms of the individual, society and the Andalusian state, answers were sought to the questions of what multiculturalism is and what its role is in Andalusian Spain. Issues that will help understand the fields of activity of multiculturalism theory have been examined and its main ideas and concepts have been discussed. In this context, firstly the theory of multiculturalism and its reflections in Andalusian Spain were discussed, then the approach of multiculturalism to state identity was explained by touching on the identity factor. Following the section that continues with the definitions of thinkers about multiculturalism, the Andalusian state identity is examined. The issue of state identity, which is effective in the formation of individual and social identity, and its importance in the formation of state identity, on the contrary, constituted an important part of the study. As a result, the multiculturalist approach has a guiding mission in determining good and bad in the relevant areas of identity.
