Bu araştırmanın amacı, beden eğitimi ve spor dersinde öğrencilerin güdülenme nedenlerini belirlemek için geliştirilmiş olan Çocuklarda Algılanan Nedensellik Odağı Ölçeği (Perceived Locus of Causality-Child Version) çocuk formunun geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmasını yapmaktır. Geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmasının örneklemini Mersin ilinden araştırmanın amacına uygun olarak “amaçlı örnekleme” tekniği ile seçilen 5, 6 ve 7. sınıflar düzeyinde öğrenim gören yaşları 10 ile 13 arasında değişen 246 kız (Xyaş=11.65, Ss=0.94) ve 232 erkek (Xyaş=11.74, Ss=0.90) toplam 478 (Xyaş=11.69, Ss=0.92) öğrenci oluşturmuştur. Katılımcılara “Kişisel Bilgi Formu” ve “Çocuklarda Algılanan Nedensellik Odağı Ölçeği” uygulanmıştır. 13 maddeli 5 boyutlu ölçeğin yapı geçerliği Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi ile test edilmiştir. Birinci düzey Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi sonucunda elde edilen uyum iyiliği değerleri (x2 (168.02)/df (56)=3; RMSEA=.065; NNFI= .96; CFI= .97; GFI=.95) önerilen beş faktörlü modelin veri ile uyumlu ve kabul edilebilir olduğunu göstermiştir. İçsel güdülenme boyutu için .83, özdeşimle düzenleme boyutu için .78, içe yansıtılmış düzenleme boyutu için .78, dışsal düzenleme boyutu için .71 ve güdü yoksunluğu (güdülenmeme) boyutu için .80 iç tutarlık katsayıları elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen değerler neticesinde Çocuklarda Algılanan Nedensellik Odağı Ölçeğinin algılanan nedensellik odağını ölçmek adına geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçüm aracı olduğu ortaya konulmuştur.
The purpose of this research is to conduct the validity and reliability study of the Perceived Focus of Causality-Child Version Scale, which aims to determine the motivation reasons of students in physical education and sports lessons. The sample of the validity and reliability study consists of a total of 478 students (Xage=11.69, Sd=0.92), 246 girls (Xage=11.65, Sd=0.94) and 232 boys (Xage=11.74, Sd=0.90), aged between 10 and 13 who study at the 5th, 6th and 7th grades, first selected by “Purposive Sampling” technique in accordance with the purpose of the research from Mersin city.“Personal Information Form" and “Perceived Causality Focus in Children Scale” were applied to the participants. The construct validity of the 13-item which have 5-dimensions were tested with Confirmatory Factor Analysis. Goodness of fit values obtained as a result of first level DFA (x2 (168.02)/df (56)=3; RMSEA=.065; NNFI= .96; CFI= .97; GFI=.95) have showed that the proposed five-factor model is compatible with the data and is acceptable. For intrisic motivation dimension .83, for identified regulation dimension .78, for introjected regulation dimension .78, for external regulation dimention .71, for amotivation dimention .80 internal consistency coefficients were obtained. As a result of the values obtained, it has been revealed that the Perceived Casuality Focus Scale in Children a valid and reliable measurement tool in order to measure the perceived causality focus.
