Bu araştırmada, ‘din eğitimi pratiğinin dili’ üst çatısı altında yabancı dilde din eğitiminin program ve pratikleri ele alınmıştır. Bu çerçevede yabancı dilde din eğitiminin tercih sebepleri ve genel amaçları, bu eğitimin yabancı dil eğitimi, din eğitimi ve ana dil eğitimine muhtemel etkileri tartışılmıştır. İslam eğitim geleneği ve ülkemiz açısından yeni bir tercih olduğu anlaşılan yabancı dilde din eğitimi pratikleriyle ilgili herhangi bir çalışmanın yapılmadığı anlaşılmaktadır. Araştırmada, yabancı dilde din eğitimi programlarına yönelik ciddi planlamaların olmadığı yanında bu eğitim pratiğinin, temel amaçlarından eğitim çıktılarına kadar birçok açıdan mahzurlu olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.
In this study, foreign language religious education programs and practices are discussed under ‘the language of religious education practice’. In this context, the reasons for preference and general purposes of religious education in a foreign language, and the possible effects of this education on foreign language education, religious education and mother tongue education are discussed. Accordingly, it is aimed to concreted these concepts. It is understood that there has not been any study on religious education practices in a foreign language, which is understood to be a new preference for the Islamic education tradition and our country. In the study, it was concluded that there are no serious plans for religious education programs in foreign languages, and that this educational practice is undesirable in many respects, from its basic aims to educational outcomes.
