İlkokul Türkçe, Hayat Bilgisi ve Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Kitaplarının Kültürel Miras Unsurları Açısından İncelenmesi

Abstract:

Çalışmada, ilkokul Türkçe, Hayat Bilgisi ve Sosyal Bilgiler ders kitaplarında bulunan kültürel miras unsurlarının incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Veri kaynağı olarak ölçüt örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen ve 2020-2021 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında okutulan Türkçe ve Hayat Bilgisi 3. sınıf ile Türkçe ve Sosyal Bilgiler 4. sınıf ders kitapları seçilmiştir. Araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan “Kültürel Miras Unsurları İnceleme Formu” ile veri kaynakları incelenmiş ve veriler betimsel analiz ile analiz edilmiştir. Analizler sonucunda, ilkokul Türkçe ve Hayat Bilgisi 3. sınıf ile Türkçe ve Sosyal Bilgiler 4. sınıf ders kitaplarında bulunan kültürel miras unsurlarından en çok sözlü gelenekler ve anlatımlara yer verildiği görülmektedir. Ayrıca Türkçe 3 ve 4. sınıf ders kitaplarında kültürel miras unsurları ile ilgili metinlerin görsellerle ve etkinliklerle desteklendiği tespit edilmiştir. İlkokul Hayat Bilgisi 3. sınıf ders kitabında kültürel miras unsurlarının daha çok metin ve görsellerde vurgulandığı görülmesine rağmen, Sosyal Bilgiler 4. sınıf ders kitabında daha çok metinlerle vurgulandığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

Abstract:

In the study, it is aimed to examine the cultural heritage elements in the textbooks of Turkish, Life Science and Social Studies courses in primary school. Document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the study. As the data source, the textbooks of the 3rd grade Turkish and Life Science and the 4th grade Turkish and Social Studies courses, which were taught in the 2020-2021 academic year, were selected by criterion sampling. With the “Cultural Heritage Elements Review Form” prepared by the researchers, data sources were examined and the data were analyzed with descriptive analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was seen that oral traditions and expressions are mostly included among the cultural heritage elements in the textbooks of the 3rd grade Turkish and Life Science and the 4th grade Turkish and Social Studies courses in primary school. In addition, it was determined that the texts related to cultural heritage elements in Turkish textbooks are supported by visuals and activities. It was seen that the cultural heritage elements are emphasized more in texts and visuals in the 3rd grade textbook of Life Science while the 4th grade textbook of Social Studies is mostly emphasized with texts in primary school.
