İnsanların temel gereksinimlerinden barınma, günümüzde konutlar aracılığıyla gerçekleştirilmektedir. Öte yandan; nüfus artışı, kültürel farklılıklar, çevresel etkenler gibi çeşitli nedenlerle konutların da farklılaştığı ve bunun etkisinde çeşitli konut modellerinin ortaya çıktığı görülmektedir. Bireysel, gecekondu, yapı kooperatifleri, yapsatçı, toplu konut, yapı kooperatifleri birlikleri olarak sıralanabilen bu modeller; yapı sektöründeki farklı ihtiyaçlara cevap vermek üzere kullanılmaktadır. Bireylerin konut ihtiyacı arttıkça üretim de artmakta dolayısıyla bu artış üreticiler arasında ve konut satışında rekabeti getirmektedir. Bu rekabet ortamı ile başa çıkmada, konut birimlerinin tanıtımının yapılıp satışlarının gerçekleştirilebileceği çeşitli pazarlama araçlarından ve yeni temsillerden faydalanılmaktadır. Bunlardan biri olan sanal gerçeklik, teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte günümüzde sıklıkla ön plana çıkan yeni temsil araçlarındandır. Dolayısıyla, konut sektöründe sanal gerçeklik sistemlerinin kullanılmasının, tasarımcı ve tasarımı satın alan kullanıcı arasındaki iletişimi güçlendirmesi söz konusu olmuştur. Ayrıca, bu araçları kullanarak kullanıcıların konut henüz üretilmese de mekanları gezebilir olması sağlanabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada, sanal gerçeklik sistemlerinin konut sunumuna dahil olma aşamaları ve kullanım biçimlerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışma kapsamında incelenmek üzere, konut sunumu ve pazarlanmasına sanal gerçeklik sistemlerini dahil eden altı platform belirlenmiştir. Sonrasında, belirlenen platformların çalışma şekli aktarılmış ve bu platformlarda, tasarımcı ve kullanıcının kullanabileceği özellikler araştırılmıştır. Buna ek olarak, platformların kendi içlerinde farklılaştığı noktalar belirlenerek, eksik görülen noktaların geliştirilebilmesi amacıyla çeşitli önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
Shelter, one of the basic needs of people, is realized through houses today. On the other hand; It is seen that housing also differs due to various reasons such as population growth, cultural differences, environmental factors, and various housing models emerge under the influence of this. These models, which can be listed as individual, gecekondu, housing cooperatives, produce-sell, mass housing and housing cooperatives unions; It is used to respond to different needs in the building sector. As the housing need of individuals increases, the production also increases, so this increase brings competition among producers and in housing sales. In order to cope with this competitive environment, various marketing tools and new representations are used to promote and sell residential units. Virtual reality, one of them, is one of the new representation tools that frequently come to the fore with the development of technology. Therefore, the use of virtual reality systems in the housing sector has strengthened the communication between the designer and the user who purchases the design. In addition, using these tools ensures that the users can visit the places even if the house has not been built yet. In this study, it is aimed to examine the stages of virtual reality systems' inclusion in housing supply and their usage patterns. Six platforms that include virtual reality systems in housing supply and marketing have been identified to be examined within the scope of the study. Afterward, the way of working of the determined platforms is explained and the features that can be used by the designer and the user on these platforms are researched. In addition, the points where the platforms differ within themselves have been determined and suggestions have been made in order to improve the missing points.
