In the article the narration (tehkiye) which in Arabic means “to tell” is analyzed according to the variants of the “Kachak Nabi” saga. It is clear that there are three types of saga narration (authors language) in terms of functionality in the text: 1. poetic narration (poem), 2. prose or prose narration, 3. dialogical narration. All three types of narrations found in the “Kachak Nabi” (Figutive Nabi) epos are being investigated. The memory defined by the poem, which is filtered from the thought of Ozan // ashug, reflects those that are connected to the past and tradition. It also reveals the thinking potential of ethnocultural memory. The system of formulas of the saga, with all its content, reveals the structure, the mastery of the narrators ability. The narration of sagas by professional ashugs and their narration experience in this field are the basis for the course and success of narration. Although the battle scenes, episodes, and images are very close in the versions of the saga “Fugitive Nabi”, the narrators ability to narrate plays a key role. Thus, if one version of the epos “Fugitive Nabi” is full of downloads and additional information, in the other version the authors language is simple and concise. In the other version, the course of events is more reminiscent of the “Koroglu” epos, while the fourth version can be considered an example of the epos written in the light of Soviet ideology. In all versions of the saga, the events are told in the first person. In addition to the language of the author, the language of the image is widely used in the saga. The epic narrative in the saga and all the spectra contained in the structure of the saga, the methods and means used, the narrators skill, the system of formulas and the features reveal the essence as a whole.
