Sanayileşmeyle ilişkili tarımsal modernizasyon küresel liberal ekonomik politikalarla dönüşmüştür. Günümüzde gıda üretimi, gıda güvenliği ve stratejisi önemli araştırma ve gündem maddelerinden olmaya başlamıştır. Bu durum aynı zamanda yeni teknolojilerle de ilişkili bir şekilde ele alınarak, önemini korumaya devam etmektedir. Tarımsal modernizasyon hem Türkiye’de hem de dünyada uzun bir sürece sahip olmakla birlikte, savaş, salgın ve diğer tehlikeli durumlarla birlikte gıda stokunun sorgulanmaya başlandığı son dönemlerde yeni teknolojilerle yeniden gündem konusu olmuştur. Son süreçte, agro-ekolojik, entegre üretim sistemleri ve biyoteknolojiye dayalı kalkınma girişimleriyle sermaye biriktirme, arazi ikame ve üretim materyallerinin metaya dönüşümünde farklılaşmalar ve yakınlaşmalar ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu çalışmada, 2016-2022 yılları arasında kuruluşunu tamamlayan ve sürdürülebilir kalkınma bileşenli kırsal kuruluşların (firma, şirket, sektör) karşı karşıya olduğu zorluk, çatışma, farklılık, işbirlikleri ve benzerliklerin ortaya çıkarılması amaçlanmaktadır. Dijital, agro-ekolojik ve agrobiyolojik politika, araştırma ve uygulamanın zorlukları, gıda sistemlerinin ve kırsal alanların değişim durumları gerçek vakalar üzerinden tespit edilmiştir. Dolayısıyla, 6 ayrı kuruluş, şirket veya tesisin kırsal sürdürülebilir kalkınma vakaları incelenmiştir. Bu nedenle, çalışma verileri 6 vaka çalışmasının verilerine dayanmaktadır. Çalışmada, 6 analitik sorunun toplu analizleriyle 3 tema ortaya çıkarılmıştır. Her tema, tanımlanan analitik araştırma sorularının mercekleriyle incelenmiştir. Çalışmada genel olarak tarımsal kalkınmanın "modernist" yorumu, teknolojik gelişmeleri, maddi refahı ve tüketimi vurgulanmıştır. Vaka analizleri sonucuna göre yaşam kalitesi değerleri, eşitlik sorunları ve uzun vadeli sürdürülebilirliğin büyük ölçüde göz ardı edildiği ortaya çıkmıştır.
The modernization of agriculture associated with industrialization has become a global liberal economic policy. Today, food production, food safety and strategy have begun to be important research and agenda materials. This situation also continues to keep its importance, addressing it in a way related to new technologies. Although agricultural modernization has had a long period in both Turkey and the world, war, epidemic and other dangerous circumstances have become the subject of new technologies in recent periods when food stocks have begun to be questioned. In recent process, with agro-ecological, integrated production systems and biotechnology-based development initiatives, there have been differences and approximations in capital savings, land housing and transformation of production materials into material. This study aims to identify the challenges, conflicts, differences, cooperations and similarities faced by rural organizations (firms, companies, sectors), which have completed their organization and are a component of sustainable development between 2016 and 2022. Digital, agro-ecological and agrobiological policies, the challenges of research and application, the changes in food systems and rural areas have been identified through real cases. Therefore, 6 separate organizations, companies or facilities have been examined in rural sustainable development cases. Therefore, the work data is based on the data of the 6 case study. In the study, 3 themes were revealed with a collective analysis of 6 analytical issues. Each subject is studied with the markings of defined analytical research questions. The study emphasized the "modernist" interpretation of agricultural development in general, technological developments, material prosperity and consumption. The case analysis has shown that quality of life values, equality issues and long-term sustainability are largely neglected.
Agricultural modernisation associated with industrialisation has been transformed by global liberal economic policies. Today, food production, food safety and strategy have become important research and agenda items. This situation is also related to new technologies and continues to maintain its importance. Although agricultural modernisation has a long history both in Turkey and in the world, it has become an agenda item again with new technologies in recent periods when food stocks have been questioned due to war, epidemics and other dangerous situations. In the recent period, differentiations and convergences have emerged in capital accumulation, land substitution and commodification of production materials through agro-ecological, integrated production systems and biotechnology-based development initiatives. This study aims to reveal the challenges, conflicts, differences, collaborations and similarities faced by rural organisations (firms, companies, sectors) with a sustainable development component, which were established between 2016 and 2022. The challenges of digital, agro-ecological and agrobiological policy, research and practice, the changing situation of food systems and rural areas are identified through real cases. Therefore, cases of rural sustainable development of 6 different organisations, companies or facilities were analysed. Therefore, the study data is based on the data of 6 case studies. In the study, 3 themes emerged from the collective analyses of the 6 analytical questions. Each theme was analysed through the lens of the identified analytical research questions. The study generally emphasised the "modernist" interpretation of agricultural development, technological developments, material welfare and consumption. The case analyses revealed that quality of life values, equity issues and long-term sustainability were largely ignored.
