Abstract:

The aim of the research is to evaluate the restaurant atmosphere dimensions in disabled-friendly hotels where disabled people go and to measure the effect of restaurant atmosphere perceptions on the revisit ıntentions. In the research, questionnaire technique, one of the quantitative data methods, was used. October 2021- February 2022, the questionnaire forms prepared were delivered to individuals with disabilities online due to the COVID 19 pandemic. Data were obtained from 441 disabled individuals. According to the findings, it was concluded that the perception of restaurant atmosphere of disabled people has a positive effect on their revisit intentions. In addition, it was concluded that the gender, marital status, and age of disabled people did not constitute decisive differences on their perception of the restaurant atmosphere. In addition, it was concluded that the educational levels of disabled people, the causes of disability, the types of disabilities, the frequency of accommodation and the provinces where the hotels they go to have decisive differences on the perception of the restaurant atmosphere. At the same time, it was revealed that disabled people have a high level of positive perception of the restaurant atmosphere on the dimensions of the seating arrangement, aesthetics, lighting, and service personnel. Finally, it concluded that there is a high level, positive and significant relationship between the sub-dimensions of the restaurant atmosphere and the the revisit intentions.
