Zihin insani varoluşun temelidir. Zihnin içerik kazanması ve gelişmesi ise eğitim ile mümkündür. Eğitim bir olgu olarak çeşitli kuramlarla açıklanmıştır. Yapılandırmacılık ve özellikle bilişsel yapılandırmacılık kuramı zihin ile eğitimi birlikte yorumlaması bakımından önemlidir. Ancak bilişsel yapılandırmacılık bir eğitim görüşü ve bir teori olarak eğitim alanında ortaya çıkmış olsa bile, felsefe tarihinde izi sürülerek zihin ya da eğitim üzerine düşünen filozoflarda da bir kökeninin olup olmadığına bakıldığında empirizmle birtakım benzerlikler taşıdığını görmek mümkündür. Empirizmin betimlediği şekilde zihin ve işlevleri ile bilişsel yapılandırmacılığın zihin temelli eğitim anlayışında zihnin iç işleyişi bakımından benzerlikler olduğu dikkat çekicidir. Bu nedenle bilişsel yapılandırmacılığın köklerini, empirist felsefenin gelişim sürecinde aramak onun hem tarihselliği olarak hem de tezlerinin temellendirilmesi bakımından önemlidir. Bu makalede bilişsel yapılandırmacılık üzerinde yeniden düşünülmesi, onun kapsamının yeniden tartışılması, böylece bu kuramın derinleştirilmesi hedeflenmiştir. Bu manada yapılması gereken şey, eğitim hakkındaki temel kabullerden farklı bir yol izleyen bilişsel yapılandırmacılık kuramının ayrıntılı bir analizini yapmak ve buradan hareketle zihni önceleyen iki empirist filozofun düşüncelerini analiz etmektir. Bunun sonucunda, empirizmin betimlediği şekilde zihin ve işlevleri ile bilişsel yapılandırmacılığın zihin temelli eğitim anlayışında zihnin iç işleyişi bakımından benzerlik olup olmadığı sorularına cevap aranacaktır. Aynı zamanda olası benzerliklerin farklı sonuçları değerlendirilecektir.
The mind is the foundation of human existence. Content acquisition and development of the mind is possible with education. Education as a social fact has been explained by various theories. The theory of constructivism and especially the theory of cognitive constructivism is important in terms of interpreting mind and education together. However, even though cognitive constructivism emerged in the field of education as a view of education and as a theory, it is possible to see that it has some similarities with empiricism when we look at whether it has an origin in the thoughts of philosophers who think about mind or education in the history of philosophy. It is noteworthy that there are similarities between the mind and its functions as described by empiricism and the inner workings of the mind in the mind-based education approach of cognitive constructivism. For this reason, it is important to seek the roots of cognitive constructivism in the developmental process of empiricist philosophy, both historically and in terms of grounding its theses. In this paper, it is primarily aimed to rethink about cognitive constructivism, to rediscuss its scope, and thus to elaborate and deepen it. In this sense, what needs to be done is to make a detailed analysis of the theory of cognitive constructivism, which follows a different path from the basic assumptions about education, and to analyze the thoughts of two empiricist philosophers who prioritize the mind. As a result, it will be sought to answer the questions of whether the mind and its functions, as described by empiricism, are similar in terms of the inner workings of the mind in the mind-based education approach of cognitive constructivism. At the same time, different consequences of possible similarities will be evaluated.
