Abstract:

The functional use of objects is seen in fictions with both the inter-sensory connection function (characteristic, psychological) and mystical socio-cultural aspects, which have the decisive symbolic feature at the basis and breaking point of the fiction created with multidimensional perspectives. The objects in question sometimes find their place in the texts as much as the subjects of the fictions, take on characteristic features, and at the points where they come into existence with multidimensional meanings, the semantic cult effect can be used by constructing, changing, starting, ending the evolution of events, etc. gains value at the point of creating many functional allegories. Objects can be phenomena of cultural, historical, religious and psychological phenomena. His aesthetic preferences, social and historical ideas, which he reflects on the work from the artist's perspective and uses to create the fictional skeleton; in the light of these data, the objects in question determined by the way of thinking he has adopted; In his fictions, he has serious qualities that he resorted to during the process of creating the chain of events. In this study, Mustafa Kutlu's views on tradition and modernity preferences in her narratives will be expressed. As a result, Mustafa Kutlu's preference for tradition and modernity is explained through the objects he uses to create the main idea in his fictions.
