Toplumsal cinsiyet (gender); biyolojik cinsiyetten (sex) farklı olarak toplumun kadına ya da erkeğe yüklediği sorumlulukları, rolleri ve beklentileri kapsayan sosyolojik ve psikolojik özellikler taşıyan kavramı ifade etmektedir. Toplumun kadına ya da erkeğe yüklediği cinsiyet rolleri ve kimlikleri toplumsal cinsiyetin konusudur. Bu çalışmada ise Rusça söz varlığı çerçevesinde toplumsal cinsiyet açısından kadından söz edilirken kullanılan dilin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda kadına dair Rusça atasözleri, deyimleri ile stereotipleri incelenmiştir. İnceleme sonucunda Rus toplumunda kadının ikincil konumda yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada betimleyici- analitik yöntem kullanılmıştır.
Gender refers to the concept that has sociological and psychological characteristics, covering the responsibilities, roles and expectations that society imposes on women or men, unlike sex. Gender roles and identities that society imposes on women or men are the subject of gender. In this study, it is aimed to examine the language used when talking about women in terms of gender within the framework of Russian lexicon. Russian proverbs, idioms and stereotypes on women were examined in accordance with this purpose. As a result of the examination, it has been determined that women are in a secondary position in Russian society. In the study, descriptive- analytical method was used.
