Abstract:

In this study, the aim was to explore the possibilities for body education and play activities in the primary schools of the state located in the TR83 (Amasya, Samsun, Çorum, Tokat). The sample of the study was made by a total of 215 maternal teachers working in the public primary schools of TR83. All the findings in the study were obtained with a prepared information form. The information form was provided by sending online to the teachers of parental schools. The findings were analyzed by taking frequency and percentage values. According to TR 83, only 52.6 percent of native students in public primary schools passed medical checks. Only 25.1 per cent of school maternities are playing rooms and 15.3 per cent are playing areas, about 60-70 per cent are playing materials for mental, rhythm and simulation development, less than 45 per cent have a variety of body training and playing materials, and only 19 per cent of available materials can be used by each student at the same time. About 25 percent of their maternities could be sufficient in terms of physical training and play activities; the existing facilities were determined by the teacher’s views of the way that 60.9 percent of teachers achieved their objective in terms of physical training and play activities through their production and special efforts. As a result, in the TR83 state-owned primary schools, teachers with their production capabilities, special efforts and dedications can partly reach their body education and play activities but they can be said that their possibilities for body education and play activities are quite limited.
