Giriş: Metin dilbilim, dilbilim alanı içerisinde özellikle dil eğitimlerinde kullanılan okunan ya da yazılan metinlerin sahip olması gereken özellikleri inceleyen bir dal olarak ortaya çıkmıştır. Günümüzde dil öğretimlerinin merkezini metinler oluşturmaktadır. Bu noktada bu çalışma, metin dilbilim dersi alan öğrencilerin metin dilbilim dersine ve metinsellik ölçütlerine yönelik algılarını ölçmeyi amaçlamıştır. Öncelikle çalışmada metin dilbilim ve metinsellik ölçütleri ile ilgili bilgiler verilmiştir. Materyal ve Yöntem: Çalışmanın araştırma evreni, Ordu Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören ve metin dilbilim dersi alan Türk Dili ve Edebiyatı ve Türkçe Öğretmenliği bölümü öğrencileri ile kısıtlanmıştır. Bölümlerde kayıtlı 424 öğrenciden 251’ine ulaşılmış ve anket uygulanmıştır. Öğrencilerden alınan yanıtlar SPSS 23 istatistik programı vasıtasıyla faktör analizi, güvenirlik analizi, bağımsız örnekler T testi ve Anova testine tabi tutulmuştur. Tartışma ve Sonuç: Elde edilen analizler sonucunda öğrencilerin kitap okuma sıklığına göre metinsellik ölçütlerine yönelik algılarının değiştiği sonucuna varılmıştır.
Especially those used in language education that examines the characteristics should have read or written texts, text linguistics has emerged as a branch within the field of linguistics. Today, texts form the center of language teaching. At this point, this study aimed to measure the perceptions of students taking text linguistics courses towards the text linguistics course and textuality criteria. First of all, information about text linguistics and textuality criteria is given at this study. The research population of the study has limited to the students of the Department of Turkish Language and Literature and Turkish Teaching who study at Ordu University and take text linguistics courses. 251 of 424 students registered in the departments were reached and a survey was administered. The answers received from the students were subjected to factor analysis, reliability analysis, independent-samples T test and one-way ANOVA test through the SPSS 23 statistical program. As a result of the given analyses, it was concluded that students' perceptions of textuality criteria changed depending on the frequency of reading books.
