Kadın kimliğinin tarih öncesi dönemlerde ve modern zamanlardaki temsiline ilişkin yaklaşımlar farklı paradigmaların eşliğinde değerlendirilmiş ve kutsal mekan olgusunun kadının ontolojik statüsüne dair ortaya koyduğu fikirsel çerçeve üzerinde yeterince durulmamıştır. Bu çalışmada kadın mekan ilişkisi, kutsal mekanlar ekseninde gerçekleşen “insan-mekan etkileşimi” üzerinden temellendirilmiştir. Bu amaçla sembolik anlamlar ve çağrışımlarla birlikte sosyolojik olarak da derin bir anlam alanına sahip olan hac ibadeti İslami kodları ekseninde ele alınmış ve İslam haccının kadının ontolojik varlığı ve toplumsal statüsü konusundaki somut yapısı ve sembolik yönleri farklı boyutlarıyla analiz edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda öncelikle kavramsal çerçevenin kuşatıcılığı analiz edilmiştir. Diğer taraftan hac mekanları ve ritüelleri ile birlikte ideal bir düşünsel zemine oturtulmuş olan kadın kimliğinin tipolojik görünümlerine dair ideal planda öne çıkan yorum biçiminin, zaman içerisindeki anonimleşmesi üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışma teorik tarama yöntemi ile konu hakkındaki kaynakların birbirini bütünleyecek biçimde ele alınması ile gerçekleştirilmiş araştırmanın fikirsel bağlamı İslami, filolojik ve sosyolojik kaynakların bir arada kullanıldığı multidisipliner bir literatürden hareketle oluşturulmuştur. Ayrıca bazı kadın düşünür ve yazarların kaleme almış oldukları kişisel hac hatıratlarından yapılan referanslarla konunun teorik arka planı zenginleştirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak lehte ve aleyhte olmak üzere kadının toplumsal kimliği ile ilgili İslami kaynak ve göstergelerin ele alınışında İslam’da kulluğun ikmali olarak tanımlanan kutsal bir yolculuğa denk gelen hac ibadetinin özgün bir düşünce zeminine sahip olduğu dikkati çekmiştir. İslam haccında kurucu bir aktör olarak Hz. Hacer’in görünen kadın kimliği ve bu çerçevede kadının kimlik değerini yücelten sembolik zenginlik derin bir düşünsel repertuar sunması itibariyle alternatif yorum mekanizmaları arasında yerini almakta gecikmiştir.
Approaches to the representation of women's identity in prehistoric times and modern times have been evaluated in the presence of different paradigms, and the intellectual framework that the phenomenon of sacred space reveals about the ontological status of women needs to be sufficiently emphasized. In this study, the relationship between woman and space is grounded on the "human-space interaction" on the axis of sacred spaces. For this purpose, the pilgrimage, which has a deep sociological meaning along with symbolic meanings and connotations, has been examined on the axis of Islamic codes, and the concrete structure and symbolic aspects of the Islamic pilgrimage on the ontological existence and social status of women have been analyzed in different dimensions. In this context, first of all, the comprehensiveness of the conceptual framework is analyzed. On the other hand, anonymizing the interpretation style that stands out in the ideal plan regarding the typological appearances of the female identity, which is placed on an ideal intellectual ground with the pilgrimage places and rituals, has been emphasized over time. The study is based on the theoretical survey method and a complementary analysis of the sources on the subject; the intellectual context of the research is based on multidisciplinary literature in which Islamic, philological, and sociological sources are used together. In addition, the theoretical background of the subject was enriched with references to personal pilgrimage memoirs written by some women thinkers and writers. As a result, the discussion of Islamic sources and indicators related to the social identity of women, both pro and con, has drawn attention to the fact that the pilgrimage, which coincides with a sacred journey defined as the fulfillment of servitude in Islam, has a unique ground of thought. The visible female identity of Hagar as a founding actor in the Islamic pilgrimage and the symbolic richness that glorifies the identity value of women within this framework has been delayed to take its place among alternative interpretation mechanisms as it offers a deep intellectual repertoire.
