Abstract:

Tural Adishinovs article “Parallels of Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” in tales collected from the Balakan-Sheki region” is devoted to a very important topic of comparative folklore. The researcher brought parallels between the tales of the Balakan-Sheki region and the height of the “Kitabi-Dede Gorgud” epic. The scientific findings of the researcher are a valuable addition to the study of the “Kitabi -Dede Gorgud” epic. The researcher analyzed the parallels in the tales of the region in the article and, logically, confirmed that the original and ancient copies of the “Kitabi - Dede Gorgud” were related to Shaki.
