Kur’ân-ı Kerîm ve ona bağlı olarak gelişen kıraat ilmi İslam dünyasında en değerli ilimler arasında kabul edilmiş ve Kur’ânî ilimlerin eğitimine büyük özen gösterilmiştir. Bu önemli ilim dalı, günümüze kadar süregelmiş ve toplumumuzda özel bir yer edinmiştir. Zaman zaman çeşitli nedenlerle kısa süreli kesintilere uğramış olsa da 1968 yılında Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı tarafından Mehmet Rüştü Aşıkkutlu’nun riyasetinde düzenlenen aşere kursu ile yeniden canlanmıştır. Sözkonusu kursu başarıyla tamamlayarak icâzet alan Çat Müftüsü Halis Emek Hoca ve arkadaşları görev yerlerine dönerek Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı’nın uhdesinde kıraat eğitimi vermeye başlamıştır. Halis Emek Hoca düzenlediği kıraat kurslarında hocasının yöntemini takip ederek yeni talebeler yetiştirmiştir. Bu çalışmada, Halis Emek’in kıraat eğitimi verirken takip ettiği yöntem incelenirken günümüzde Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı tarafından uygulanan eğitim yöntemine de işaret edilmiştir. Ayrıca, bu iki yöntemin kısmen karşılaştırılmasına gidilmiştir. Bu karşılaştırma, kıraat eğitiminin etkili bir şekilde nasıl verilebileceği ve mevcut yöntemlerin nasıl geliştirilebileceği hususunda giriş mahiyetinde bilgiler sunmaktadır.
The Holy Qur'an and the science of Qiraat, which developed in connection with it, were considered among the most valuable sciences in the Islamic world and great attention was paid to the education of Qur'anic sciences. This important branch of science has continued until today and has gained a special place in our society. Although it was interrupted from time to time due to various reasons, it was revived in 1968 with the aşere course organized by the Presidency of Religious Affairs under the leadership of Mehmet Rüştü Aşıkkutlu. After successfully completing the course, Çat Mufti Halis Emek and his colleagues returned to their places of duty and started to provide Qiraat education under the auspices of the Presidency of Religious Affairs. Halis Emek followed his teacher's method in the Qiraat courses he organized and trained new students. In this study, while examining the method Halis Emek followed while giving Qiraat education, the method of education applied by the Presidency of Religious Affairs today is also pointed out. In addition, a partial comparison of these two methods has been made. This comparison provides introductory information on how Qiraat education can be given effectively and how existing methods can be improved.
