Abstract:

This study has studied the impact of career anxiety on the family institution and marriage decision. The total number of students who participate in this study that covers university students is 187. The sample group was selected among the students of the Faculty of Business (651 students), the Faculty of Tourism (169 students), the Professional High School (1790), the Faculty of Applied Sciences (321) located in the district of Beyşehir. In this study, a simple random sample method was used. The attempt to reach students through communication means has led to the difficulty of obtaining easy-to-access data. For the purpose of obtaining data in the study, the work group’s career concerns and their views on marriage and family institutions were identified with demographic questions and 90 question survey applications were conducted. Quantitative research and questionnaire were used as a method in the survey and the data were analyzed with the SPSS 20 package program. The frequency percentage is distributed. The university students who participate in the study pay attention to their spouses to be a career and employer while building a family. On the other hand, it has been seen that love, mutual love, happiness and peace are important to be. Students who participate in the study are afraid of marriage. The reason for this is to take responsibility and express the idea that the spouses they have known before marriage will change with marriage after marriage.
