As it is known, the boron mine has around 70-72% of the world's reserve in our country and it is located in Western Anatolia, Eskişehir, Kütahya, Balıkesir and Bursa. In these regions, the general boron mineral density is on colemanite, ulexite and tincal minerals, raw ore is extracted from these minerals and high grade concentrates are obtained by size crushing and classification processes. Boric acid production is also carried out especially in Balıkesir and Kütahya regions. Basically, this high grade ore is extracted after a series of treatments with H2SO4 at high temperatures in boric acid production. In this study, high efficiency of sulfuric acid on sludge with high clay content Balıkesir Bigadiç ulexite colemanite content was obtained and these wastes were obtained with yields above 96 %. The ability of the boron in the waste to be recovered and evaluated, both in the region and other boron wastes in our country, in the waste non-boron structures to be evaluated in different sectors and waste ponds, ground problems, environmental problems of boron and other wastes, such as environmental problems can have an important place to eliminate seen. It is also a great advantage to obtain extra benefits by obtaining boric acid-H3BO3 from these wastes.
