Abstract:

In order to obtain high yielding and quality products, it is possible to choose suitable varieties and to provide the most suitable maintenance conditions during the growing period. One of them is the complete application of macro and micro nutrients needed by the plant. In this study, it was carried out to see the effect of liquid fertilizer containing macro and micro nutrients together on yield, yield components and quality criteria of durum wheat. In the 2020-2021 growing season, the effect of liquid fertilizer application dose on 3 durum wheat cultivars was investigated under farmer conditions in Çağıl village of Kızıltepe district of Mardin province. The experiment was carried out according to the Random Blocks Trial Design with 4 replications. Significant differences were detected at the level of 0.1% and 0.5% in terms of liquid fertilizer application, varieties and interaction. Among the examined characteristics, the number of spikes per square meter (368-439 pieces/m2), plant height (97-107 cm), spike length (7.4-7.7 cm), spike yield (25.2-26.0 g/spike), hectoliter weight (81.6-83.8 kg/hl), protein ratio (11.8-14.0%), wet gluten ratio (30.6-35.6%) and grain yield (5367-6289 kg/ha-1) were determined to be important in terms of liquid fertilizer application, but insignificant in terms of other parameters. In general, according to the results obtained from the research, the effect of liquid fertilizer application on durum wheat was found to be significant. In addition, useful and visual results were obtained on the relationship and interaction between genotypes and applications with biplot analysis.
