Abstract:

In the educational system of the age we live, it has gained importance to train individuals with the skills of the 21st century, such as problem-solving, creative, innovative, mathematics, media and science readers. The aim is to create learning environments that suit the needs of students to develop these skills. Students who need special education, like each student, need to participate actively in the education and see learning according to their own needs. Therefore, the research aims to investigate the problems faced by high school students with mental disability and learning difficulties, which are the need for special education, and the suggestions for solutions to these problems. In this context, the research method has been used. In the study in the 2018-2019 educational year in the city center, 7 teachers of science who worked as teachers in the state-owned official schools and 6 students with mental disability recognized in the state-owned official institutions, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties recognized in the city center, 5 students with learning difficulties. According to the research results, in general, mental disability and learning difficulties recognized high school students are living in the science teaching; lesson hours lack, classes are crowded, the science curriculum is not suitable for the student's coaching, communication problems, the student's obstacles teachers don't know, etc. Many problems have been identified.
