Barla, which is connected to the center of Eğirdir district in Isparta, is now a village while it was formerly a town. There are many historical buildings in Barla. Two of these historical buildings are bathhouses. One of these bathhouses is Çaşnigir Bathhouse and the other is Göçeri Bathhouse. Çaşnigir Bathhouse is known as "Çaşnigir Paşa Bathhouse" among the people because of Çaşnigir Pasha Mosque located nearby. The bathhouse is said to have been built by Çaşnigir Sinan Pasha, who was patnonage of Çaşnigir Paşa Mosque in 1376. Bathhouse should probably have been built by local masters in terms of architecture. If it is thought that Hamidoğulları Emirate prevailed in the region in those years, it can be said that the local masters who made the bath could have reflected the artistic taste and effect of the beauties on the work.
