Hz. Peygamber, zorlu bir hicret yolculuğunun ardından Medine’nin en büyük yerleşim yerlerinden biri olan Kubâ’ya vardı ve burada birkaç gün kaldıktan sonra şehir merkezine intikal etti. Böylece nispeten verimli arazileri, su kuyuları ve Medine merkezine yakınlığı ile bilinen Kubâ hicretin varış noktası oldu. Hz. Peygamber burada kaldığı sayılı günlerde Kubâ halkı ile ilgilendi ve ayrıca bir mescit inşası için gerekli çalışmaları başlattı. Medine merkezine yerleştikten sonra da haftanın belirli günleri Kubâ’yı düzenli olarak ziyaret etmeye ve halkıyla yakından ilgilenmeye devam etti. Bu ziyaretlerinde ve Kubâ halkıyla ilişkilerinde merkezi bir rol oynayan Kubâ Mescidi’nin inşasında bizzat yer aldı. Sonraki yıllarda yapılan mescit çalışmalarını da takip etti. Burada görevlendirdiği imam ve müezzinler vasıtasıyla da irtibatı sürdürmeye devam etti. Kubâ halkı da talep ve şikayetlerini Resûlullah’a kolaylıkla iletme imkânına sahipti. Zira Hz. Peygamber’in düzenli olarak onları ziyaret etmesinin yanı sıra aradaki mesafenin yakınlığı nedeniyle Kubâ ahalisi de Medine’ye kolayca gelebilmekteydi. Nitekim en azından haftada bir kez cuma namazı için Medine’ye gelmeleri emredilmişti. Bunlara ek olarak yaşanan bazı problemler üzerine Hz. Peygamber’in en kısa sürede Kubâ’ya intikal ettiği ve bizzat ilgilenerek meseleleri çözdüğü de olmaktaydı. Hz. Peygamber’in Kubâ ile ilişkilerini müstakil olarak ele alan bu makale bilhassa Kubâ tarihi açısından önem taşımaktadır. Buna ek olarak araştırmanın Medine döneminin daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkı sunması amaçlanmaktadır.
The Prophet first arrived in Qubā, one of the largest settlements in Medīna, after a difficult journey of hijra and stayed there for a while. Thus, Qubā, known for its relatively fertile lands, water wells and proximity to the center of Medīna, went down in history as the destination of the hijra. In a few days that the Prophet stayed here, he took care of the people of Qubā and started the works for the construction of a mosque. After settling in the center of Medīna, the Prophet regularly visited Qubā on certain days of the week and took care of its people. He personally worked in the construction of the Qubā Masjid, which played a central role in these visits and in his relations with the people of Qubā. He also followed the construction of other mosque in here. He provided religious education with the imams and muezzins he appointed here, as well as providing communication with the region. In addition, the people of Qubā did not have any trouble in conveying their demands and complaints to the Messenger of Allah. Because of the closeness of the distance and the importance of Qubā, the Prophet regularly visited them. The people of Qubā used to come to Madīnah at least once a week for Friday prayers. In addition to these, when problems were seen here, the Prophet would immediately go to Qubā and solve the problems himself. This research, which deals with the relationship of the Prophet with Qubā independently, is especially important in terms of Qubā history. In addition, it is aimed to contribute to a better understanding of the Medīna period.
