Abstract:

Bu çalışmada D-8 ülkeleri (Bangladeş, Endonezya, İran, Malezya, Mısır, Nijerya, Pakistan ve Türkiye) verileri kullanılarak iktisadi büyüme ile finansal gelişme arasındaki ilişki panel veri seti kullanılarak irdelenmeye çalışılmıştır. Random etkiler modeli ve dinamik panel verileri tahmini yapılmıştır. Tahminlerde dört farklı mali göstergenin yanı sıra dış ticaret açıklığı, sabit sermaye yatırımları, kamu nihai tüketim harcamaları, verimlilik artışı, fiyat artışı gibi kontrol değişkenleri kullanılmıştır. Finansal araçların ekonomik büyüme üzerinde pozitif ve anlamlı bir etkisinin olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
