Bu araştırmanın amacı, aile işletmelerinde kurumsal yönetimin franchise sistemine etkisini belirlemektir. Bu etki, ekonomik ve yönetsel perspektifle, franchise sisteminin dört ayrı boyutu ile araştırılmaktadır. Kurumsal yönetim ise kurumsal yönetim algısı olarak ele alınmış ve kurumsal yönetimin temel ilkelerine dayanılarak oluşturulan ve her biri alt kriterlerden oluşan 5 bileşen ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklemi İstanbul’da franchising alan işletmelerin sahibi veya yöneticisi olan 400 kişiden oluşmaktadır. Veri toplama yöntemi olarak anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Kurumsal yönetim algısının franchising sistemine etkisinin belirlenmesi için regresyon analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Bulgular, aile işletmelerinde hem kurumsal yönetim algısının hem de alt bileşenlerinin franchise sistemine istatistiksel olarak anlamlı ve pozitif yönde etki ettiğini göstermektedir. Araştırmada kurumsal yönetimin hem genel olarak hem de işletme yönetimi, çalışan-müşteri, toplum ve yönetişim boyutlarında, ekonomik faydayı olumlu yönde etkilediği belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar, kurumsal yönetime önem veren aile işletmelerin, bunun faydasını sadece franchise sistemi, yönetim ve pazarlama boyutunda değil, ekonomik olarak da görebileceğini göstermektedir.
The aim of this research is to determine the impact of corporate management on the franchise system in family enterprises. This impact, from an economic and administrative perspective, is studied by four distinct dimensions of the franchise system. Corporate management is considered as a corporate management perception and is created on the basis of the basic principles of corporate management and analyzed with 5 components, each of which consists of subcriteria. The sample of the study consists of 400 people who own or manage franchise enterprises in Istanbul. The method of data collection is used. Regression analysis has been used to determine the impact of corporate management perception on the franchising system. The findings show that both the corporate management perception and its subcomponents in family enterprises have statistically meaningful and positive effects on the franchise system. The research has found that corporate management has a positive impact on economic benefits both in general and in business management, employee-customer, society and management dimensions. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of corporate governance on the franchise system in family businesses. This effect is examined with an economic and managerial perspective, with four dimensions of the franchise system. Corporate governance has been handled as perception of corporate governance and analyzed with 5 components, each consisting of sub-criteria, created based on the core principles of corporate governance. The sample of the study consists of 400 people who are the owner or manager of the companies that purchase franchise in Istanbul. Survey method was used as data collection method. Regression analysis was used to determine the effect of corporate governance perception on the franchising system. The findings show that both the perception of corporate governance and its subcomponents in family businesses have a statistically significant and positive impact on the franchise system. In addition, it has been determined that corporate governance has a positive effect on economic benefits both in general and in business management, employee-customer, community and governance dimensions. The results show that family businesses that attach importance to corporate governance can benefit not only in the franchise system, management and marketing aspects, but also economically.
