Temel Sanat Eğitimi ya da diğer adıyla Temel Tasarım dersi, Güzel Sanatlar Fakülteleri, Mimarlık Fakültelerinin farklı bölümleri ve Resim-İş Eğitimi Anabilim Dallarında birinci sınıf ders planı içerisinde stüdyo/atölyelerde gerçekleştirilmektedir. Bu derslerde öğrencilerin farklı sanat ve tasarım alanlarına bakışını belirleyen temel teorik bilgiler aktarılır, bu bilgiler uygulamalı olarak pekiştirilir. Öğrenme sürecinde öğrencilerin edindikleri temel bilgi ve beceriler, alanlarına yönelik bilinçli davranışlara, uygulamalara, tartışmalara dönüşür. Bu çalışmanın amacı, Turizm Fakültelerinin Gastronomi ve Mutfak Sanatları bölümlerinde birinci ya da ikinci sınıfta okuyan öğrencilerin alanlarına yönelik edinimlerini, temel sanat eğitimi dersi sürecinde etkili tabak tasarımları ile sonuçlandırabilmelerine olanak tanımaktır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada, Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli Üniversitesi, Turizm Fakültesi Gastronomi ve Mutfak Sanatları Bölümünde 2019-2020 Güz Dönemi, 2. Sınıf 1. Dönem “Temel Sanat Eğitimi ve Estetik” dersi kapsamında gerçekleştirilen tabak tasarımı uygulamaları, öğrencilerin tasarımlarına yönelik yorumlarıyla desteklenerek sunulmaktadır. Çalışmanın, alanda yapılacak diğer uygulamalara örnek bir kaynak oluşturacağı düşünülmektedir.
Basic Art Education or Basic Design course is carried out in studios/workshops within the first class course plan in Faculties of Fine Arts, different departments of the Faculty of Architecture and in the Division of Art Education. In these lessons, the basic theoretical information that determines the students’ view of different art and design areas is communicated and this information is reinforced practically. The basic knowledge and skills that students acquire during the learning process turn into conscious behaviors/practices/discussions about their fields. The aim of this study is to enable students of the Faculty of Tourism to study at the first or second grade in the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts to be able to conclude their acquisitions for their fields with effective plate designs during the basic art education course. In this regard, in the study, plate design applications carried out in Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University, Faculty of Tourism, Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts within the scope of the 2019-2020 Summer Semester, 2nd Class, 1st Term "Basic Art Educaiton and Aesthetics" course are supported with the students comments on their designs. The study is thought to be an exemplary resource for other applications in the field.
