Abstract:

This study aims to study the experience of the supervision process of psychological consultants by qualitative and quantitative methods. The research participants are formed by candidates for psychological consultants who have completed the course of psychological consultancy practice with individuals who continue to a university's psychological consultancy and guidance bachelor's program. The study included 29 men and 39 women, aged 21 to 25, with a total of 68 participants. The study included a total of 52 participants, including 19 men and 33 women, aged 21 to 24. The study used the personal information form prepared by researchers as a data collection tool, the metaforic work form and the Assessment Process Reserve in Supervision. According to the quality findings obtained in the study, the metaphors related to the supervision process were found to be gathered under four categories in the form of supervisor-day consultant relationship, guidance, awareness gain-transformation and evaluation. The quantitative findings obtained in the study showed that the intrinsic supervision process was significantly more effective than the face-to-face supervision process.
