İlk Basımı 1985 yılında gerçekleştirilen İslam ve Çocuk, din eğitimi bilimi alanında öncü bir isim olan Prof. Dr. Beyza Bilgin'in çocuk eğitimine dair görüşlerini ortaya koyduğu en önemli eserlerden biri olarak kabul edilmektedir. İslam ve çocuk, din eğitiminin iki kaynağı olarak dinin temel kaynakları ve eğitim alanında yapılan çalışmalardan elde edilen bulgulardan hareketle çocuk eğitimini farklı boyutlarıyla ele almaktadır. Eser içeriği ve meseleyi ele alış biçimiyle eğitimcilere, anne babalara ve diğer okuyuculara çocuk eğitimine dair bir bakış açısı sunmaktadır.
The first edition of Islam and Child, which took place in 1985, is considered to be one of the most important works in which Prof. Dr. Beyza Bilgin, a leading name in the field of religious education science, has revealed his views on child education. Islam and child, as the two sources of religious education, take the child education in different dimensions by moving from the foundations from the basic resources of religion and the studies in the field of education. In the form of addressing the content and issue, the work offers educators, parents and other readers a view of child education.
