Ağızlar, hem bir dilin hem de bir kültürün en önemli unsurlarındandır. Bir yörenin ağzına ilişkin elde edilen veriler aynı zamanda o yörenin kültürüne ilişkin elde edilen verilerdir. Bu anlamda ağız araştırmalarının önemi ve ağız araştırmalarına ilişkin yapılan çalışmalar gün geçtikçe artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada öncelikle ağız ve ağız sözlüğü kavramları üzerinde durulmuş ve bu kavramların kapsam alanlarına yer verilmiştir. Ardından ilk ağız sözlükleri ve modern anlamdaki ağız sözlüklerine kadar olan süreçte yazılan ağız sözlükleri ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Ağız sözlükleri; kullanım amacı, coğrafyası, oluşturulma şekli gibi pek çok ölçütten hareketle çeşitli sınıflara ayrılmaktadır. Yapılan sınıflandırmaların bazılarına burada yer verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Ağız sözlüğü hazırlama süreci çok yönlü ve zor bir süreçtir. Bu nedenle ağız sözlüğü hazırlanırken karşılaşılan pek çok sorun, tutarsızlık ve eksiklik bulunmaktadır. Bu sorun, eksiklik ve tutarsızlıklar; hazırlık aşaması, derleme aşaması, kaynak seçim aşaması, yazım aşaması gibi sözlük hazırlama sürecini oluşturan her aşamada olabilmektedir. Yapılan çalışmalardan hareketle tespit edilen sorun, tutarsızlık ve eksiklikler burada ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır. Tespit edilen sorun, eksiklik ve tutarsızlıklar göz önünde bulundurularak ağız sözlüklerinin hazırlanma süreci ve ağız sözlüklerinde kullanılan yöntemlere ayrıntılı bir şekilde yer verilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada ağız sözlüğü yazma sürecinde yer alan: amaç, planlama, uzman seçimi, kaynak tespiti, verilerin toplanması, madde başlarının yazımı, örneklerin yazımı, göndermelerin yazımı gibi pek çok başlık ele alınmaya çalışılmıştır.
The mouth is one of the most important elements of both a language and a culture. The data obtained about the mouth of a place is also the data obtained about the culture of that place. In this sense, the importance of oral research and the study of oral research is increasing on a daily basis. This study focused primarily on the concepts of oral and oral dictionary and included the scope of these concepts. Then the first oral dictionaries and the oral dictionaries in the modern sense were tried to be discussed. Oral dictionaries are divided into different classes by movement from many standards, such as the purpose of use, geography, form of creation. Some of the classifications were tried to be placed here. The process of preparing the oral dictionary is a diverse and difficult process. There are therefore many problems, incoherences and shortcomings that are faced when preparing the oral dictionary. This problem, deficiencies and incoherences can occur in any stage that forms the dictionary preparation process, such as the preparation stage, the compilation stage, the source selection stage, the writing stage. The problems, incoherences and shortcomings identified by the work done have been tried to be addressed here. With regard to the detected problems, deficiencies and incoherences, the process of preparation of the oral dictionaries and the methods used in the oral dictionaries were tried to be detailed. In this study, many topics involved in the writing process of the oral dictionary: purpose, planning, selection of experts, resource detection, data collection, writing the headlines of the article, writing the samples, writing the messages were tried to be addressed.
