Okul yöneticilerinden; mesleki gelişimlerine yönelik çalışma yapmaları, insan kaynaklarını yönetmeleri, okul çevresi ile ilişki kurmaları, iletişime açık olmaları ve diğer birçok beceriye sahip olmaları beklenilmektedir. Bu becerilerden biri de liderlik özelliğidir.Okul idarecilerinin başarıyı ve etkiyi ön plana aldığı bir okul oluşturabilmeleri için ilkin sorumluluklarının ne olduğunu ve bu sorumlulukları yerine getirmek için hangi liderlik becerilerini kullanmaları gerektiğini bilmeleri gerekir.Okul yöneticisinin hem öğretmenlik hem de yönetim alanında yetiştirilmiş olması ve mesleki açıdan nitelikli olması örgüt için önemlidir.Çalışma kapsamında, 2016-2021 yılları arasında görev yapan okul müdürlerinin liderlik sitillerinin farklı değişkenler üzerine etkisine dair literatür incelemesi yapılmıştır. Araştırma, 27 tez çalışmasının taranmasıyla yapılmıştır. Bu araştırma betimsel bir araştırma olup, çalışmada literatür taraması tekniği kullanılmıştır.  Okullarda görev alan idarecilerin liderlik sitillerine dair yapılan çalışmada betimleme yöntemi uygulanmış; idarecilerle ilgili liderlik sitilleri kuramsal ve tanımlar çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede liderlik niteliklerine ve mesleki yeterliliğe dair konulara değinilmiştir. Araştırmada, okul müdürlerinin liderlik stillerine yönelik elde edilen tez incelemelerinde; okul müdürlerinin uyguladığı liderlik stili ne olursa olsun, öğretmen performansını etkilediği, otokratik liderlik stili ile öğretmen performansını olumsuz yönde ve düşük oranda etkilerken, demokratik ve işbirlikçi liderlik stillerinin olumlu yönde ve yüksek oranla etkilediği çıkarımlarına ulaşılmıştır. Serbest bırakıcı liderlik sitilinin ise öğretmen performansını olumlu yönde etkilemesine rağmen oranın düşük seviyede olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

School managers are expected to work on their professional development, manage human resources, connect with the school environment, be open to communication and have many other skills. One of these skills is the leadership feature.School managers need to know what their primary responsibilities are and what leadership skills they need to use to fulfil these responsibilities to be able to create a school where success and influence are in the forefront.It is important for the organization that the school managers are trained in both teaching and management and that they are professional. In the framework of the study, a literary study was conducted on the influence of the leadership sites of school directors who worked between 2016-2021 on different variables. The study was conducted by the survey of 27 thesis. This research is an imaginary research, and the study has used the literary scan technique.  The study on the leadership sites of the administrators in schools has been implemented in the description method; the leadership sites related to administrators have been studied in theoretical and defined framework. This framework focuses on the issues of leadership qualities and professional qualifications. In the study, the thesis studies obtained on school managers’ leadership styles have come to the conclusions that, regardless of the leadership style that school managers apply, it affects the teacher’s performance, the autocratic leadership style and the teacher’s performance negatively and lowly, and the democratic and collaborative leadership styles have a positive and high impact. The release leadership site has achieved that although it has a positive impact on the teacher's performance, it has been achieved to be a low level.

School administrators are expected to work on their professional development, manage human resources, establish relationships with the school environment, be open to communication and possess many other skills. One of these skills is leadership. In order for school administrators to create a school where success and impact are at the forefront, they first need to know what their responsibilities are and which leadership skills they need to use to fulfill these responsibilities. It is important for the organization that the school administrator is trained in both teaching and management and is professionally qualified. Within the scope of the study, a literature review was conducted on the effect of leadership styles of school principals serving between 2016-2021 on different variables. The research was conducted by reviewing 27 thesis studies. This research was a descriptive research and literature review technique was used in the study.  In the study on the leadership styles of administrators working in schools, the descriptive method was applied; leadership styles related to administrators were examined within the framework of theoretical and definitions. In this framework, issues related to leadership qualities and professional competence were addressed. In the thesis analysis of the leadership styles of school principals, it was concluded that whatever the leadership style applied by school principals affects teacher performance, autocratic leadership style affects teacher performance negatively and at a low rate, while democratic and collaborative leadership styles affect teacher performance positively and at a high rate. It was concluded that although laissez-faire leadership style affects teacher performance positively, the rate is at a low level.
