Sinema toplumsal hayatın en önemli iletişim kanallarından biri olarak, toplumun her kesimi tarafından ilgi görmektedir. Tüm dünyada sinema, değişen yaşam biçimlerinin görünürlüğünü sağlayan bir sanat dalı olarak ortaya çıkmış ve gelişmiştir. Cumhuriyet öncesi ve sonrası dönemde Türk toplumunun en önemli değişim araçlarından birini oluşturan sinema, sosyo-kültürel hayatımızın hemen her alanında karşılığını bulan yapıtlar ortaya koymuştur. Bu bağlamda Cumhuriyet ideolojisinin ve batı tipi modernleşmenin toplumda yerleşmesi noktasında rol modellerin biçim kazandığı bir alan olarak tanımlanabilir. Bu yönüyle toplumda bir tarafta modernleşme araçları ve bu araçların biçimlendirdiği yaşam tarzları dururken, diğer tarafta Ağa-Muhtar ve Din Adamı üçlüsünün bir direnç noktası olarak tanımlandığı görülmektedir. Bu süreçte Türk Sineması’nda din adamları olumsuz karakterler olarak sunulmaktadır. Bu araştırmanın konusu da, Türk filmlerinin olumsuz karakterlerinden biri olan din adamı karakterinin analizidir. Bu analiz Cumhuriyet sonrası yapılan sinema filmlerinin 2000’lere kadar olan kısmını kapsamaktadır. Bu filmler arasında örneklem olarak ise, din adamı tiplemelerine yer verilenlerin en tipik örnekleri olarak Vurun Kahpeye, Kibar Feyzo, Zügürt Ağa, Üçkağıtçı, Kuma, Kiracı, Yoksul ve Sakar Şakir filmleri oluşturmaktadır. Bu çalışmada amacımız, Türk Sineması’nda sunulan din adamı tiplemesinin ideolojik, siyasal ve sosyo-kültürel arka planını ortaya koymaktır. Araştırma nitel bir incelemedir.
Cinema, as one of the most important channels of communication in social life, is attracted by every section of society. The cinema has emerged and evolved throughout the world as an art branch that provides the visibility of changing ways of life. The cinema, which formed one of the most important means of change in the Turkish society in the period before and after the Republic, has shown works that find reward in almost every field of our social and cultural life. In this context, it can be defined as a field in which the role models form at the point of establishment of the Republic’s ideology and the Western type of modernization in society. In this direction in society, on the one hand, modernization tools and the lifestyle formed by these tools stand, on the other hand, the Trilogy of Ağa-Muhtar and the Religious Man is defined as a point of resistance. In this process in the Turkish cinema the religious men are presented as negative characters. The subject of this study is also the analysis of the character of the religious man, one of the negative characters of Turkish films. This analysis covers the part of the films made after the Republic until the 2000s. As an example among these films, the most typical examples of those listed in the religious men's types are Shurun Kahpeye, Kibar Feyzo, Zügürt Nğa, Trojkağıtçı, Kuma, Leader, Poor and Sakar Joker films. In this study, our goal is to reveal the ideological, political and socio-cultural background of the religious type presented in the Turkish Cinema. The research is an investigation.
