Bu çalışmada 2014-2019 yıllarını kapsayan 6 yıllık dönem için Türk ekonomisinin en önemli sektörlerinden biri olan çimento sektöründe faaliyette bulunan şirketlerin seçilen finansal kriterler açısından performansının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada seçilen finansal kriterler şirketlerin piyasa ve muhasebe temelli verilerini kapsamaktadır. Buna ilaveten, belirlenen performans değerlendirme probleminin çözülmesinde ise çok kriterli karar verme modelleri kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın ilk aşamasında kriter ağırlıklarının hesaplanmasında Bulanık SWARA yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın ikinci aşamasında ise firmaların performans sıralamasının belirlenmesinde COPRAS ve MAUT yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Sübjektif bir ağırlık belirleme yöntemi olan Bulanık SWARA yöntemi kullanılarak ulaşılan bulgulara göre, önem ağırlığı en yüksek olan iki finansal kriter, sırasıyla Tobin’in Q’su ve piyasa değeri/defter değeri oranıdır. Ayrıca, her iki ÇKKV modeli kullanılarak ulaşılan sonuçlara göre analiz edilen dönemde seçilen finansal kriterler açıdan en başarılı şirket Konya Çimento'dur.
In this study, it is aimed to evaluate the performance of companies operating in the cement sector, one of the most important sectors of the Turkish economy, in terms of selected financial criteria for the 6-year period spanning 2014-2019. The financial criteria selected in the study include the market and accounting based data of companies. In addition, multi-criteria decision-making models are employed to solve the determined performance evaluation problem. In the first stage of the study, the Fuzzy SWARA method is used to calculate the criterion weights. In the second stage of the study, COPRAS and MAUT methods are utilized to determine the performance ranking of the companies. According to the findings from the Fuzzy SWARA, which is a subjective weight determination method, the two financial criteria with the highest importance are Tobin's Q and the market value/book value ratio, respectively. In addition, Konya Cement is the most successful company in terms of financial criteria selected in the period analyzed according to the results obtained by using both MCDM models.
