Abstract:

In the context of this study, companies operating in the Technological Development Areas have been attempted to determine what qualifications they are looking for in graduates with the degree of YBS. For this purpose, a survey was carried out in companies that operate in Technokent in Turkey. In the analysis of the data in the applied survey, identifiable statistical analyses, verifying factor analysis and multiple regression analysis were used. In personal abilities, the analytical skill defined as the ability to use logical and scientific approaches and techniques in solving problems is the most sought by, but in special abilities it is important for the ability to communicate in writing and verbal. Basic levels of knowledge that employees should have are important for, especially as foreign language knowledge, while general and professional English is also important. However, it seems that prefer employees with a social personality with good communication skills. In general, 77.2% of the enterprises participating in the work were found to prefer to employ YBS graduates in their business in the future.

In addition, 77.2% of the enterprises that participated in the study preferred to employ MIS graduates in their enterprises in future.
