Abstract:

Abstract:

In this study, the water potential of the Welcome Tea Pool was addressed. Welcome Tea Pool is located in the Upper Murat Van District of the Eastern Anadolu Region. The Good Tea, which gathers the waters of the pool, takes its source from the Ispiriz mountains in the east of the pool and flows to the west to the Van Lake. The importance of the rain on the tea dive is quite large. In the spring, the rain will increase and the snow will begin to eradicate. During the summer season, there is a decrease in the dust due to the rise of temperature and therefore the increase in drought. In addition to swimming pools, lakes, resources and underground waters create a significant hydrographic potential. The waters in the pool are generally considered in the watering of the agricultural areas in the pool and drinking, use water. For the purposes of watering in the basin, the lakes were built and the hills were opened. But they are not at a sufficient level. In addition, for the livelihoods, which is one of the main resource of the population in the pool (to meet the water needs of the animals), is also made lake (2 pieces) and seafood (657 pieces). But the number of these lakes and shells is not enough. The water potential in the pool, which is rich in underground water, is not sufficiently assessed. Our purpose in this research is to reveal the water potential in the Welcome Tea Pool and develop some solutions to benefit from this potential.

Abstract:

In this study, the water potential of the Hoşap River Basin has been discussed. Hoşap River Basin is located in the Upper Murat Van section of the Eastern Anatolia Region. Hoşap Çayı, which collects the waters of the basin, takes its source from the İspiriz Mountains to the east of the basin and flows into the Lake of Van. The importance of precipitation on the flow of Hoşap Creek is quite large. In the spring, with the increase of rainfall (rain) and the beginning of the melting of snow flow reaches the maximum level. There is a decrease in the flow rate due to the increase of the temperature in summer and consequently the increase of the drought. Lakes, springs and groundwater have a significant hydrographic potential in the basin. Waters in the basin are generally considered for irrigation of agricultural areas in the basin and as drinking and utility water. The dams were constructed for irrigation purposes and the ponds were formed and wells were drilled. However, they are not sufficient. In addition, ponds (2) and sludges (657) were made for livestock (the water needs of animals), which is one of the main livelihoods of the population in the basin. However, the number of these ponds and liquids is not enough. Water is not considered sufficiently in the basin, which is rich in water potential, surfacewater and groundwater. Our aim in this research is to reveal the water potential in the Hoşap River Basin and to develop some solution proposals to benefit from this potential profitable.
