Abstract:

In the Romanes of the National Struggle and Republic, religious men have always been criticized. In these criticisms, the statements that religious men are enemies of the National Struggle and cooperate with the enemy for their personal interests came to the forefront. Our study will show how much responsibility the religious men took during the National Struggle period, how they contributed to the establishment of the Republic, and the criticism will not be true. Furthermore, the stages of the fight for the Turkish society and the newly established state will also be discussed with the arms.
