Son yıllarda artan boşanma vakalarında, ekonomik yetersizliklerin ön plana çıkması ve aile içi maddi kaygıların olması, en önemli nedenlerden biri olarak gösterilmektedir. Yaşanılan 2009 krizi sonrası artan işsizlik ile birlikte boşanma verilerindeki artış, işsizlik ve boşanma arasındaki ilişkiyi çağrıştırmaktadır. Bu nedenle, bu çalışmada işsizlik ve boşanma arasındaki ilişki 1980-2017 yıllarını kapsayacak şekilde yıllık veriler ile, Türkiye özelinde, ekonometrik yöntem kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. İlk olarak serilerin logaritmaları Eviews 10 programı ile alınmış ve seriler arasındaki farklar en aza indirilmiştir. Daha sonra Matlab 2015 programı ile Kapetanios (2005) çoklu yapısal kırılmalı birim kök testi ve Gauss 10 programı ile Maki (2012) çoklu yapısal kırılmalı eşbütünleşme testi yapılmıştır. Son olarak da, Eviews 10 programıyla değişkenler arasındaki nedensellik ilişkisi, Toda-Yamamoto (1995) nedensellik testi ile incelenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgular, işsizlik ve boşanma arasındaki ilişkiyi desteklemekte ve ilişkinin çift yönlü bir nedensellik ilişkisi olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
In the recent years, increasing cases of divorce, economic failures are shown to be one of the main reasons for having domestic financial concerns. After the 2009 crisis, the increased unemployment, along with the increase in divorce data, calls for the relationship between unemployment and divorce. Therefore, in this study, the relationship between unemployment and divorce was studied using the economic method with annual data, specifically in Turkey, to cover the years 1980-2017. First, the logarithms of the series were taken with the program Eviews 10 and downloaded to the differences between the series. Later, with the Matlab 2015 program, Kapetanios (2005) made a multi-structually broken unit root test and the Maki (2012) multi-structually broken integration test with the Gauss 10 program. Finally, the causality relationship between Eviews 10 and the variables was studied by the causality test Toda-Yamamoto (1995) . The findings are supporting the relationship between unemployment and divorce and reveal that the relationship is a bilateral causal relationship.
