Abstract:

Under the Provisions of Turkish Law of Obligations and United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, in Contract for the Sale of Goods the Changeability of the Right Chosen by the BuyerT his article is a comparative analysis between the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the ınternational Sale of goods (CıSg) and Turkısh Obligation Law. The focus is on the buyer’s rights, which is the area where the differences between the two systems are identified as particularly striking. This article also analyses for example, whether a declaration of avoidance can be revoked or withdrawn, and another right be pursued is not addressed in the CıSg and Turkısh Law. ıt is argued that such a possibility does exist and depends on the particular facts of the situation and the protection of seller if it has reasonably relied on the declaration of avoidance
