Abstract:

In the study, an instant scan model was used. A survey form from the literature about nutrition, which consists of 16 closed end questions, was used in the study. In addition to the survey form, an individual recognition form has been created and applied to reveal the nutritional and healthy life characteristics of teachers. The data obtained after the application was analyzed and the frequency and percentage distribution were identified. According to the results obtained from the survey form consisting of closed end questions, the general nutritional habits of the teachers of sciences are the average score (X=1,8889) and the average score (X=1,4231) for contribution foods is statistically achieved. Although the overall average of the test is below 2.5 and the teachers of science try to pay attention to both the general eating habits and the contribution of food, the average score is low in terms of data values. In addition to this conclusion, according to the results obtained from the individual recognition form, the study found that 69.18% of scientists did not eat a meal during the day and 84% in their daily lives.
