Bu yazıda Prof. Dr. Gürer Gülsevin’in Uşak İli Ağızları isimli çalışması üzerinde durulmuştur. Çalışma, Ön Söz ve Giriş’ten sonra Ses Bilgisi, Şekil Bilgisi, Cümle Bilgisi, Metinler ve Sözlük olmak üzere beş bölümden oluşmaktadır. Ayrıca, çalışmada ulaşılan yazı dilinden farklı özellikler Sonuç başlığı altında verilmiştir. Eserin sonunda da kaynaklar bulunmaktadır. Ağız özelliklerinin yerini hızlı bir biçimde standart dile bıraktığı günümüzde, yapılan ağız çalışmalarının önemi çoktur. Eldeki eser de bu bakımdan son derece önemlidir.
