ÜSTBİLİŞSEL YAZMA STRATEJİLERİNİ KULLANMA EĞİLİMİ ÖLÇEĞİ

Abstract:

Bu çalışmanın amacı, ortaokul öğrencilerinin üstbilişsel yazma stratejilerine başvurma eğilimini belirlemek için beşli Likert biçiminde tasarlanmış bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Çalışmada korelasyonel araştırma modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma verileri, Malatya ili merkez ilçelerinde bulunan ortaokul öğrencilerinden basit seçkisiz örnekleme yöntemiyle tek seferde toplanmış, daha sonra iki aşamalı faktör analizi için rastgele iki gruba ayrılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, kapsam ve yapı geçerliği bakımından analiz edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda ölçek geliştirme süreçlerinde kullanılan faktör analizi tekniğine başvurularak veriler iki aşamada analiz edilmiştir. İlk aşamada birinci çalışma grubunda bulunan 443 öğrencinin verileri kullanılarak açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapılmış ve 35 maddeden oluşan tek faktörlü ölçek yapısı ortaya çıkmıştır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda ölçeğin Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayısı 0,93 olarak hesaplanmıştır. İkinci aşamada diğer çalışma grubunda bulunan 354 öğrenciden elde edilen verilerek kullanılarak doğrulayıcı faktör analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Tek faktörlü olduğu belirlenen model, doğrulayıcı faktör analizi kullanılarak test edilmiş ve doğrulanmıştır. Böylece ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu belirlenmiştir.

Abstract:

The aim of this study is to develop a scale designed in the likert form to determine the tendency of high school students to apply to supernatural writing strategies. A correlational research model was used. The study data was collected at one time by a simple unselective sample method from high school students located in the central districts of Malatya, then randomly divided into two groups for two-stage factor analysis. The data obtained has been analyzed in terms of scope and structure validity. In this context, the data was analyzed in two stages using the factor analysis technique used in the scale development processes. In the first stage, the data of 443 students in the first study group were analyzed and a single-factor scale structure consisting of 35 subjects was revealed. As a result of the opening factor analysis, the Cronbach Alfa reliability ratio of the scale was calculated at 0.93. In the second stage, the verifying factor analysis was conducted using the data obtained from 354 students in the other study group. The model identified as a single factor has been tested and verified using verifying factor analysis. This means that the scale is a valid and reliable measuring tool.

The aim of this study is to develop a scale designed as a five-point Likert to determine the tendency of secondary school students to use metacognitive writing strategies. Correlational research model was used in the study. The data used in the study were collected at once from secondary school students in the central districts of Malatya by simple random sampling method, and then randomly divided into two groups for two-stage factor analysis. The study data were analyzed in terms of content and construct validity. In addition, the factor analysis technique used in the scale development processes was applied. In the first stage of the study, exploratory factor analysis was conducted using the data of 443 students in the first study group, and a single factor scale structure consisting of 35 items emerged. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, the Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient of the scale was calculated as 0.93. In the second stage, confirmatory factor analysis was carried out by using the data set obtained from 354 students. The model, which was determined to be one factor, was tested and validated using confirmatory factor analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool.
