Abstract:

The main objective of this study is to determine the opinions of students studying child development on the Covid-19 epidemic and vaccination. In the study, the methods of research have been used by the fact scientific design. The participants identified by the homogeneous sampling method consist of 102 students studying in the pre-graduate program of a university in the province of Muş ili Malazgirt. In the collection of data, a fully structured interview form was used and these data were tripled (thema-category-code) through content analysis. According to the findings obtained, there is no coherence between the students who study the development of the child about the covid-19 epidemic, there are differences in opinions. Participants pointed out that covid-19 was a epidemic that generated negative emotions, was deliberately revealed, hoped to end a day like other epidemics, and affected the whole world. It was also found that although there were uncertainty and negative ideas about the development or use of the Covid-19 vaccine, the majority of participants said that the vaccine should be done. Individuals with emotional and psychological problems due to their infection need to be provided with psychological advice and social adaptation assistance.
