5E öğretim modelinin piyano performansı öz yeterlik algısını tespit etmek amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden ön test son test kontrol gruplu seçkisiz deneysel desen kullanılmış, gerçek deneysel desenler içerisinde yer alan bu model ile 6’sı deney 6’sı kontrol grubu olmak üzere toplam 12 öğrenci seçkisiz atama (random) ile belirlenmiştir. Veriler 5E öğrenme modeline dayalı hazırlanan sekiz haftalık etkinliklerin uygulama öncesi ve sonrası Gün (2014)’ün geliştirdiği “Piyano performansı öz yeterlik ölçeği” ile elde edilmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucuna göre iki grubun ön test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark görülmezken, son test puanları arasında anlamlı bir fark olduğu görülmüştür. Sıra ortalamalarına göre deney grubunun, kontrol grubuna göre piyano performansı öz yeterlik algılarının daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda 5E modeline dayalı etkinliklerin öğrencilerin piyano performansı öz yeterlik algılarını artırmada etkili olduğunu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Müzik eğitimi veren kurumlarda 5E modeline dayalı öğretim etkinliklerinin planlanarak yaygınlaştırılması ve diğer çalgı alanlarına yönelik çalışmaların yapılması önerilmektedir.
In this study, which was carried out to determine the perception of piano performance self-efficacy of the 5E teaching model, a random experimental design with pretest posttest control group, which is one of the quantitative research methods, was used. students were determined by random assignment. The data were obtained with the "Piano performance self-efficacy scale" developed by Gün (2014) before and after the implementation of the eight-week activities prepared based on the 5E learning model. According to the results of the study, while there was no significant difference between the pre-test scores of the two groups, there was a significant difference between the post-test scores. According to the mean rank, it was determined that the experimental group had higher piano performance self-efficacy perceptions than the control group. As a result of the study, it was concluded that activities based on the 5E model were effective in increasing students' piano performance self-efficacy perceptions. It is recommended to plan and expand teaching activities based on the 5E model in music education institutions and to conduct studies on other instrument fields.
