Bu araştırma, ortaokul ve liselerde görev yapan öğretmenlerin yaratıcı düşünme ve yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerini incelemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya 2019-2020 Eğitim-Öğretim yılında Siirt’te görev yapan 209 öğretmen katılmıştır. Genel tarama yöntemi ile gerçekleştirilen bu araştırmada veri toplanmak amacıyla “Marmara Yaratıcı Düşünme Eğilimleri Ölçeği” ile “Yaşam Boyu Öğrenme Eğilimi Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Toplanan verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel analizler, parametrik testler ve basit doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanılmıştır. Buna göre araştırmada öğretmenlerin yaratıcı düşünme eğilimlerinin “yüksek” düzeyde, yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin ise “çok yüksek” düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada öğretmenlerin hem yaratıcı düşünme hem de yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin mesleki kıdeme göre, yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin ise cinsiyete göre anlamlı bir şekilde değişmediği belirlenmiştir. Araştırmada liselerde görev yapan öğretmenlerinin yaratıcı düşünme ve yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimlerinin ortaokullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerden anlamlı bir şekilde daha yüksek olduğu, erkek öğretmenlerin ise yaratıcı düşünme eğilimlerinin kadın öğretmenlerden anlamlı olarak daha yüksek olduğu belirlenmiştir. Dahası araştırmada yaşam boyu öğrenme eğilimi, yaratıcı düşünme eğiliminin anlamlı bir yordayıcısı olduğu belirlenmiştir.
This research was done to study the creative thinking and lifelong learning trends of teachers working in high school and high school. The study included 209 teachers who worked in Siirt in the 2019-2020 Education-Teaching year. This study, conducted by the general scan method, used the "Marmara Creative Thinking Trends Scale" and the "Life Learning Trends Scale" for the purpose of collecting data. In the analysis of the collected data, visual analyses, parametric tests and simple linear regression analysis were used. According to this, the research has determined that teachers’ creative thinking tendencies are “high” levels, while lifelong learning tendencies are “very high”. The study found that teachers’ creative thinking and lifelong learning tendencies did not change significantly according to their career and their lifelong learning tendencies did not change significantly according to gender. The study found that the creative thinking and lifelong learning tendencies of high school teachers were significantly higher than those of high school teachers, and that the creative thinking tendencies of male teachers were significantly higher than women teachers. Furthermore, research has determined that the lifelong learning tendency is a meaningful promoter of the creative thinking tendency.
