Abstract:

The purpose of this article is to discuss the possible role of architecture in the publication sharing in the twenty-first century. For this purpose, the claim of this article, which will address the spatial design of the BMW's headquarters in Leipzig, Germany, is: Architecture is always political, and it is not a passive device that is only obedient to power, the only output is a simple aesthetic form. On the contrary, it is an example of how much aesthetics is related to politics. This claim will be referred to Jacques Rancière's opinions on the subject, who in his work pointed out the aesthetic dimension of political experience to fundamentate and discuss the political dimension of the design. The attitude of the architecture to the equal use of the space, re-forming the shared space in the aforementioned architectural structure, will be evaluated on the basis of Rancière's idea of sharing the announcement and the possible aesthetic and political effects of an architectural structure will be discussed.
