Fonolojik farkındalık; konuşma seslerini tanımada, sözcükteki sesleri ayırt etmede kullanılan önemli okuma becerilerindendir. Fonolojik ilişkiyi kavramış olan çocuklar, duydukları sesleri doğru bir şekilde yazabilirler. Fonolojik farkındalık becerisinin gelişmesi çocukta; dilsel gelişimi, yargıda bulunabilme ve dikkat gibi diğer bilişsel yetenekleri de geliştirmektedir. Bu araştırmada, ilkokul ikinci sınıfta okuyan öğrencilerin dikkat geliştirmeye yönelik ses, hece, sözcük çalışmalarının fonolojik farkındalık becerisine etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, Antalya ilinde bir ilköğretim okulundaki toplam 55 ikinci sınıf öğrencisi ile yürütülmüştür. Yürütülen çalışma ön test ve son test kontrol gruplu olarak planlanmış olup yarı deneysel bir araştırmaya örnektir. 31 deney, 24 kontrol grubu olmak üzere 55 ilkokul ikinci sınıf öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma grubundaki öğrencilere “Kelime Okuma Bilgisi Testi” (KOBİT) ve planlanan etkinlikler deney öncesinde ve sonrasında öğrencilerle gerçekleştirilmiştir. Deney grubundaki çocuklara, dikkat geliştirmeye yönelik ses, hece ve sözcük çalışmaları 15 hafta boyunca uygulanarak deneysel işlem gerçekleştirilmiştir. Yürütülen çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulguların normalliğini test edebilmek için öncelikle Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi uygulanmıştır. Ardından bulguların analiz edilmesinde aritmetik ortalama, standart sapma ve yürütülen deneysel çalışma neticesinde elde edilen puanlar arasında anlamlı bir fark olup olmadığını tespit etmek için bağımlı örneklem t-testi kullanılmıştır. Deney grupları ve kontrol grubu arasında deney grupları lehine anlamlı bir fark bulunmuştur.
Phonological awareness; It is one of the important reading skills used in recognizing speech sounds and distinguishing sounds in words. Children who have grasped the phonological relationship can write the sounds they hear correctly. The development of phonological awareness skills is in the child; It also improves other cognitive abilities such as linguistic development, judgment, and attention. In this study, it was aimed to investigate the effect of sound, syllable, and word studies on the phonological awareness skills of students studying in the second grade of primary education. Therese archwas carried out with a total of 55 second grade students in a primary school in Antalya. The study was planned as a pre-test and post-test control group and is an example of a quasi-experimental research. 31 experiments; It was carried out with 55 primary school sophomore students, 24 of which were in the control group. The activities planned for the "Vocabulary Reading Knowledge Test" (KOBIT) for the students in the Study group were carried out with the students before and after the experiment. The experimental process was carried out by applying sound, syllable, and word exercises for 15 weeks to the children in the experimental group. The experimental process was analyzed by using the statistical program SPSS 22.0 package program. After giving the arithmetic ans and Standard deviations of the data, the dependent sample t-test was used to determine whether there was a significant difference between the score obtained as a result of the experimental study. A significant difference was found between the experimental group and the control group in favor of the experimental groups.
