Abstract:

Nurses in the health sector are in close contact with both their team members and patients. This also increases their level of extinction. This risk increased further with the Covid 19 epidemic. Because causes such as infection, increased workload, death threat, uncertainty of the process, long stay with the patients and being separated from the family raise their level of anxiety and extinction. Nurses are also feeding from aspects that will help them cope with these situations while fighting all of these factors. In this sense, it becomes important to study the spiritual trends that feed their psychological resistance. This study aims to investigate the relationship between the levels of exhaust and spirituality in nurses, one of the health care groups where exhaust is high. Furthermore, referring to the intermittent role of psychological resistance in the relationship between spirituality and exhaust syndrome is also among the objectives of the research. The research was created on the basis of the relative scan model. There were 216 nurses who worked in the medical facilities. The participants were applied the Personal Information Form, the Maslach Extinction Scale and the Spiritual Scale. The data analysis of participants was carried out in SPSS Statistics 20 and package software.
