Abstract:

The Kiripto currency concept, which was founded in 2008, has reached $19.060 from December 2017 and has increased its recognition. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies found the numbers of 2700 have managed to attract the attention of investors who want to get fast profits. In this context, it has been the subject of research by many sections how and in what direction the price of cryptocurrencies will change. The aim of this study is to predict the future price of cryptocurrencies with different infrastructure features such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, IOTA and Ripple, moving from the prices that occurred in the past. In the study, the price forecast was made using the theory of the grey system, which was revealed by Deng Ju-Long in the 1980s. The previous prices used in the study cover the 11 day process. According to literature, this period of time may be short indicates the model’s superiority compared to other models. According to the results obtained, GM(1.1) and Rolling-GM(1.1) model results were predicted with very close errors and the errors of the predictions were very low.
