Kripto para birimleri, e-ticaretin gelişmesiyle birlikte ortaya çıkmış olan, merkezi bir otoriteye bağlı olmayan ve kriptoloji tabanlı sistemler ile güvenliği sağlanarak tüm dünyada kullanılan para birimleridir. Bu para birimlerine olan ilginin artışı ve kullanımının yaygınlaşması; vergi, hukuk ve muhasebe alanlarında da incelenmesinin gerekliliğini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu çerçevede çalışmamızın amacı; genel itibariyle kriptoloji, kripto para birimleri ve bu para birimlerinin Türkiye’deki vergilendirilmesini ve Dünyadaki uygulamaları incelemektir..
Cryptocurrencies are currencies that have emerged with the development of e-commerce, which are not linked to a central authority and are used worldwide by providing security with cryptocurrency-based systems. The increased interest and the spread of use of these currencies has revealed the need to be examined in the fields of tax, law and accounting. The aim of our work in this framework is to study, in general, the cryptocurrencies, the cryptocurrencies and the taxation of these currencies in Turkey and the practices in the world.
